Confessions from the lab is a bit of a social experiment. Too many people go through life holding things in. None of us are perfect. So now's the time. If you've done something in the lab that's been weighing you down, you've come to the right place. Anonymously confess, and release yourself of the burden that's been plaguing you. We're just a small group of people in the life science industry hoping to lend an ear to the troubled. So what are you waiting for, you're just one click away from absolution.

The Confessions from the Lab website is brought to you by BioTX Automation, Inc. The founders of this site have worked in and have managed labs for over twenty years. During a discussion about our WellAware Pipet Navigation Systems, we recently discovered a disease that had no name. Once we identified the symptoms of the disease, the name became obvious: Fillaphobia. The fear of pipetting the wrong thing into the wrong well. When discussing the symptoms of the disease we started discussing our own experiences with Fillaphobia as both technicians and lab managers. From this discussion we began to regale each other with our own confessions and we found the experience fun, entertaining and in some cases horrifying. We decided that the stories were actually fun to tell, write, and read and decided to start this site. I hope you will enjoy adding to our little social experiment.
